Don't have much time to write today, but let me tell you how much I love the area I'm in... sooooooo much!! The families in this ward are fantastic. Seriously. And now that I've started remembering names and things, of course they split the ward in two haha. It was a pretty packed congregation, that's for sure.
We meet a lot of dogs here. They say the Michigan doorbell is barking, haha. Buuuut last week we got to hold a baby potbelly pig!! He was only 4 days old in the picture and he was sooo tiny, I felt like I would squish him just holding him!
Okay, but the most important thing is actually happening this week and I want to let you all know of this before next Monday: GENERAL CONFERENCE IS COMING!!! We believe we have a prophet and apostles on the earth today, just as they had in Jerusalem, and every 6 months they speak in General Conference! It's broadcast worldwide through the internet, radio, and television. It is absolutely incredible and soooo spiritually uplifting, I definitely suggest you check it out! Eastern time, it's 12-2 and 4-6 on Saturday and Sunday. Watch it. Do it. It's like Christmas with an outpouring of knowledge and spirit and let's go and do everything great because life's great, y'know?
Not too many standout stories from this past week, but here's some wisdom for you all: stretch yourself! Don't be afraid to step out of your comfort zone! That's how you learn and progress super quickly. A mission is outside of everyone's comfort zone, especially mine... but I do it because I love the gospel and want to help others learn and come closer to Christ! And the more I practice and teach and knock, the more confident I am and the more comfortable I am in this new setting. The same can be applied to anything, though... just take that first step! :)
I hope you all are having a wonderful week! Do great things! Amo voce!
